In the 1990s several underground hits were built around samples of entire chords. Since the sample wasn't a single note, but a chord, shifting it on the keyboard moved the root — and the whole thing only ate a single voice of polyphony. I'm hoping this sample set encourages musicians to explore this approach to composition. 

Process wise, I ran a JD-990 through a pair of 610 tube pre-amps, then through a pair of 1176 compressors, to make a the famous width and warmth even wider and warmer. And not only did I sample the famous strings and pads, I also got the drums and basses. It's a huge sample pack, WebSynth's biggest to date!
