Hello,

I’m having difficulties using my MIDI controller in WebSynths Grooves. I have an Arturia MiniLab mk2, with eight drum pads (that can be toggled to eight others) that don’t register. I tried the following things in Arturia’s MIDI Control Center:

  1. Setting the pads to Switched Control mode, and each pad to CC number 36 to 51 (according to the pads in Grooves when clicking on MIDI assignment).
  2. Messing with all sixteen MIDI channels, to see if a particular one must be set.

My controller does work with WebSynths Microtonal, once I set the keyboard to MIDI channel 1. But no success with Grooves. It could totally just be something I don’t understand with MIDI, but if anyone could bring any help, I would be very grateful. Thanks for reading so far, and have a nice day.

EDIT: thank you to the author for both developping WebSynths, and for implementing the AZERTY keyboard layout. Which brings tremendous help during my lunchbreak at work!

Update: after figuring out the link between MIDI notes number and the actual note (C-3 etc.) in Arturia’s MIDI Controller, I have changed my pads to MIDI notes 36 to 51 (C-2 to D#-3 I guess). But still no success, either with the pads or the regular keys of my keyboard (which, again, work as intended in Microtonal, as well as the pads now that they’re set to MIDI notes).

2nd update: I finally found out that you have to trigger MIDI notes 36 to 51, through MIDI channel 10. And now my pads are working! Problem solved.
